Q: A friend asked if I could watch her new baby girl when she goes back to work in October. I'm really thinking of doing it. My husband gave me counsel, God what is thy counsel?

Proverbs 3:27-28 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. 28 Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.
Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
A: There are pros and cons to watching the baby and you've thought of some and there are more. But the main thing is, "Are you able? Can you do this?" The answer is yes. Do you remember this need as a young mother? You do. Do you remember your grateful heart when family helped you? This is a service that you can render to a family and a mother in need, just as your daughter is in need, but she is not able to have you there to help.
Serve this family and this child in love and All will be blessed in both your families. The baby is in need of special care and love and you can give it to her. I am filling you with my love for her and my care for her. She will bring a gift of love and peace to your home. A gift of the Spirit that will bless you all and your son especially to see my holy daughters in my eyes and through my eyes. This choice will be a blessing upon all your heads and your agreement will bring swift healing to the baby's eating problems so she will be a joy to watch over and tend.
